Aug. 11, 2013 - Poverty, Lice, Love & Swollen Feet
August 11th - Sunday - This morning we met Brother and Sister Tenny outside in front of the condo Towers along with the Whittakers and headed to the apartments by the temple to pick up Elder and Sister Fonbuena so we could all go to church together. Going to meeting entails an hour long drive through winding but beautiful countryside. The only distressing part about it is the massive amount of poverty you see along the way in the homes and roadside stands. It's disturbing, but everywhere you go you are met by smiling, kind people. It's genuinely remarkable!
We went to meeting again this week in the Merong Ward. We are greeted like celebrities. The people are kind and loving and so warmhearted and welcoming. The children are beautiful beyond words with their lovely dark hair and huge black eyes. Most of the children who are school aged all speak English. Many of the adults do as well, although not as fluently or as well pronounced as the school age children’s English. I hate not being able to pick up or hug the children. They would be affectionate and hug fanatically if we allowed them to. They must think we are so cold, distant, and unfeeling. I know the rule is important because it keeps us safe but the temptation is huge regardless. The other reason we must not pick them up or hold them is because many of them have lice and that is not good for us. In fact, during sacrament meeting, I saw a girl picking lice from her brother's head. It was gross. The fact that that everything she picked off him just got dropped on the church seats means that someone else is going to pick them up. A bit distressing to know that anyone can end up with them because of one family. I know the girl who sat in front of me in Sunday school class was picking them out of her own hair.
After we got home from church and a good wash up, Sister Doing and I put together our meal for supper. The Whittaker’s came at 5:00 to eat with us. We served angel hair pasta with alfredo sauce. I made it and it was really good. I used butter to sauté the finely Chopped onions, then made a rue and added milk till it thickened nicely and added in the onions. After it was nicely mixed and just the right consistency I added in grated mozzarella cheese and let it simmer for just a bit till all the flavors blended. It was quite nice. There's enough for supper tomorrow night or to take for lunch tomorrow. I guess it all depends on what we choose. I just know that with the cost of groceries being what they are, we better not waste any of anything.
I am now just sitting with my aching legs and feet up trying to relieve some of the pain in them. I cannot fathom going through this entire mission with my legs and feet this swollen and aching the way they do right now. I will get sent home for being absolutely non-productive long before 18 months if this keeps up.

The extremely essential aspect you must look for is "generic sildenafil". Sometimes men take more medicines later in breath and some have sexual side effects that result in impotence. Some of medicaments fuel sex drive. If you buy any prescription medicaments like Viagra, check with a health care occupational that they are foolproof to take with your other medications.
